Introduction

After many years of battling with the confusing instructions in service & maintenance manuals purchased from my local motor factor, it seems that these days the internet is the best place to find out how to fix your car.

I've been helped out numerous times trawling though various car repair forums so I thought it was time to 'share the wealth'.

At the moment I have a 1.9 TDi Passat Estate, which at 6 years old is a prime candidate for things going wrong. The latest is a leaky radiator, so I thought I'd document the progress in the hope that it would help someone else with the same problem.
